Pramod Kumar KG is the Managing Director of Eka Archiving Services Pvt. Ltd, India’s only museum consulting company. His work in the field has ranged from large and small research driven projects both in India and internationally. The nature of these projects has been wide ranging from archiving and cataloguing collections to publications, exhibitions and workshops to talks and lectures. He instituted and was the founder director of the first Jaipur Literature Festival and currently co-directs Mountain Echoes, The Bhutan Literature festival.
He set up the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing at Jaipur, a successfully running textile museum currently in its 8th year of existence . As the Associate Director of the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts he was involved in the coordination of a series of path breaking volumes on the history of photography in India. He is the Consulting Editor from India for the Textiles Asia Journal and is the author of several publications. Pramod recently curated and published a volume on the photographic career of Nemai Ghosh titled ‘Nemai Ghosh – Satyajit Ray and Beyond’ (DAG, 2013) and Posing for Posterity – Royal Indian Portraits (2012, Roli Books). He has co-authored with Jyotindra Jain & Deepthi Sasidharan Raja Deen Dayal – The studio Archives from the IGNCA Collection (IGNCA, 2010) and Painted Photographs – Coloured Portraiture in India with Rahaab Allana (Mapin, 2008). He initiated a series of four collection handbooks for the Anokhi Museum and co-authored the first volume with Emma Ronald Print Progress – Innovation & revival, 1970-2005.
